Age less than 11
- Have bigger variety of instruments
- Turn voices up
Age 12-18
- Keep following God and leading us in worship
- I miss night watch and hope we can get that together again
- Speakers in the back
- Also play what the teens like, people might like it too
- Add one or two more songs
- There is a whole lot of life in the music.
- It's kind of boring
- Turn up the guitars (2)
- Louder everything
Age 19-29
- No slow songs
- You are doing great
- I love singing both contemporary and traditional songs
- Variety – maybe some older hymns incorporated
- Keep up the great work (2)
- Play stuff younger people will enjoy all the songs are geared to older people
- I like it
- I like the variety of instruments
- Keep it up
Age 30-39
- Loud doesn't mean better
- Preferences are divisive…excellence is uniting
- Keep introducing new music also
- I would like to see occasional special music
- Maybe have a choir, I would join
- After church during fellowship time it would be great to have the children and youth not play or rough house
- Would like to continue to see worship expand
- Longer worship times not so regimented 1 song break 2 songs offertory, etc…
- Keep listening and challenging us
- Praise team a little lower volume
- Mix up when announcements and singing are done
- A few more songs would be great
- How about just the guitar and drums sometimes
- Keep it up
- I like Mary Ann taking request at night
- More freedom
- Don't put performance before the meaning of worship which goes beyond music
- I will keep praying that the leadership hear from god
Age 40-49
- Tempo is a little slow at times
- Preach more on salvation
- Sometimes it's nice to have silent prayer during instrumental music paying and not someone up front telling us how to pray, how to be grateful, etc…No big deal but sometimes it's hard to seek out God with everyone else's words. Lets seek God's works
- Keep it like it is
- Blake is awesome, praise God
- Continue on
- Upbeat music not being played too slow
- Quality is good but don't worry about looking good, ladies please stay modest
- I'd like the worship band to make sure they are dressed modestly and that they are humble and avoid musical mentality (ha ha)
- Strive for not time limit…Spirit led
- None, I think it's great. Everybody has the opportunity to be a part of the worship team
- A hymnal once in a while
- Worship is not just music and not just here on Sunday morning, teach a lifestyle of worship
- Use people in our church body, not outsiders this is an area of leadership. Special occasions is one thing but regular should be of this church.
- Keep encouraging Blake
- Can we dance?
- Continue to let Blake lead. I hope no one tells him what to play or how to play. Let him work with pastor and listen to God and we will follow
- More traditional
- Please keep volume a little lower so not to be too overwhelming, I like to hear people sing
- Don't be intimidated by man or his ways
- Less music more teaching
Age 50-59
- None
- Song to have meaning to lyrics
- Music is too loud
- Continue to let the Spirit rule, you are doing great
- Much contemporary has great words but we sing too slowly. I notice many around me are not singing. We also tend to drag hymns when we do sing them
- Need more time to think and share on this
- Some hymns
- Do more of today
- Twice every Sunday
- Keep it up (2)
- Blend, blend, blend
Age 60-69
- When the piano is not used, take off black cloth (looks like a funeral)
- Love to see children learn some of the old hymns
- More piano helps up carry the tune
- More toward blending hymns to chorus
- Use our gifted people, we do not need a paid position
- Matching song selection with the sermon.
- Be open to the leading of the Holy Spirit
- Hire a worship pastor
- Solos and duets would be nice in voice and instruments
- Move forward, this is not a funeral home, I hope. Don't worry about the complainers
- The lyrics are important to me, I prefer ones that are about Christ and not about me and my feelings
- Keep it up, none like it!
Age 70-79
- Shorten announcements and opening so Tim can preach longer
- Less long term standing, break it up
- Focus: prepare hearts for the message less frantic atmosphere
- More mix
- Continue with more praise and worship songs and worship
- Keep on doing what you are doing, be willing to make positive changes
- Excellent today!!
Age 80 & up
- Quiet time to pray and mediate in with songs and hymns and move from some chorus so often repeated
